Alarm Clock - fatal flaw

The alarm clock is horrible - it "forgets" the sound its supposed to play. Consequently the device does activate when its supposed to but plays no sound. If an alarm is set, it works fine the first time, but if the alarm is not recurring, the next time its set to go off, theres no sound associated with it. I think this is a fairly recent problem.
